Faith-Based Homeschool Activities
At Lake City Gymnastics, we’re proud to host faith-based homeschool co-op groups designed to build friendship, community, and connection. These co-ops are not academically focused; they’re centered around fellowship, fun, and mom-led activities in a welcoming, supportive environment.
All co-ops require enrollment, and parents must remain on-site to help supervise in both the classroom and gym areas.

Through gym time, classroom activities, and mom-led games, our homeschool co-ops give children meaningful opportunities to grow, connect, and enjoy time together in a faith-based environment.
Lake City Travelers
Meets: Every other Monday
Time: 1:00–3:00 PM
Cost: $100 per family, per semester
Ages: Homeschool families of all ages
Lake City Travelers is a faith-based homeschool co-op that meets every other Monday for two hours of community and fun. Children are divided into preschool – 3rd grade and 4th grade – high school. This co-op group is coordinated by three volunteer leaders who manage schedules, registration, and communication.
Each meeting includes two rotating parts:

Gym Hour
Kids may use most gymnastics equipment or participate in organized group games under supervision.

Classroom Hour
Moms sign up to lead a game or activity. When no activity is scheduled, board games are available.
Lake City Faithful Explorers
Meets: Every other Wednesday
Time: 1:00–3:30 PM
Cost: $100 per family, per semester
Ages: Homeschool families of all ages
Lake City Faithful Explorers is a faith-based homeschool co-op focused on building strong friendships and meaningful community connections. Children are divided into preschool – 3rd grade and 4th grade – high school.
This co-op group is coordinated by three volunteer leaders who manage schedules, registration, and communication. Parents are required to remain on-site and assist with supervision at all times.

Meets: Every other Thursday
Time: 1:00–3:00 PM

Ages: Homeschool families with school-aged children
The Thursday Homeschool Co-Op is designed to foster friendship and community through simple, engaging, mom-led activities. This co-op group is coordinated by three volunteer leaders who manage schedules, registration, and communication.

Kids can enjoy time in the gymnastics area, use most equipment, or participate in organized group games that are all supervised and led by moms in the group.

Moms sign up to lead a simple activity or game. When no activity is planned, children may choose from available board games.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if a class is missed?
Each child is allowed one make-up class each month. The make-up class must be rescheduled within the month that it is missed.
How do I pay?
We keep a credit or debit card on file for you. Between the first and seventh of every month, your card will be charged.
Are parents able to watch classes?
Parents and caregivers are always welcome to stay and watch their child’s class, they are not allowed out on the gym floor.
What should my child wear to class?
Children can wear comfortable athletic clothes. Girls can wear a leotard and no shoes or socks are allowed on the gym floor.
Can I drop my child off for class?
Parents are able to drop off their child, but are required to come inside the gym to pick up their child. Children are not allowed to wait outside for parents or caregivers to pick them up due to safety reasons. If your child is not old enough to understand that you will return to pick them up after class or that they need to wait inside, please stay during their class.
Do parents need to stay during co-op meetings?
Yes. Parents are required to remain on-site for the entire co-op and help supervise in either the classroom or gym area at all times.
Is this an academic co-op?
No. Our homeschool co-ops are not academically focused. They are designed to build friendships and community through mom-led activities, games, and supervised gym time.
How are the children grouped?
Children are typically divided into two groups: Preschool–3rd Grade and 4th Grade–High School. (Age group divisions may vary slightly depending on enrollment)
What does a typical co-op meeting look like?
Each meeting includes two parts: a Classroom Hour and a Gym Hour. One group begins in the classroom while the other is in the gym, and the groups switch for the second hour.
How much does it cost to join, and is registration required?
The cost is $100 per family, per semester. Enrollment is required to participate in any of our homeschool co-op groups.
